We left Little Harbor and arrived Sunday in paradise. Multiple times a day we turn to each other and exclaim “this is why we came to the Bahamas!!!!” After weeks and weeks of less than great weather, we have had 5 days in a row of lovely weather and spirits are high on Selah.
We did an overnight passage from Little Harbor straight to Warderick Wells, Exuma. (We skipped the island of Elethura completely, after much hemming and hawing.)
First on the list of things to do was hike Boo Boo Hill and leave a piece of driftwood with our boat name. It has long been a tradition of cruisers and we couldn’t wait to add ours to the stack.
Naturally at 8am we realized we had not created such a sign before. Crafts were on the agenda before coffee.

Selah is looking pretty dang happy these days, even if she is covered in salt! Hopefully nature will give her a nighttime bath sometime soon.
Cleary the Exumas are a hit so far. Next up we swim with pigs at Staniel Cay! Stay tuned.
So glad you guys are having a fun run of nice weather! It’s cold again, and currently raining, so it’s back to living vicariously for now.
SO PROUD of your crafting! miss you people something fierce. i think it’s about time you popped in for a visit on land. love you!
I knew you would be proud!! Coming home in March! Come see me in ATL?
YESSSSS! just keep me posted!
Great job you two! Love this, your sign and the two of you! Xo
Bo and Allison,
If you see the Quantum Leap in the Exumas check her out. She is moored somewhere close to Stocking Island. If you have time pay a visit to St Francis Marina and tell George hello from the crew that brought The Quantum Leap to the Exumas for the first time on its maiden voyage from South Africa.
Jim
OMG!!! I can’t believe you saw our sign still there! That’s insane. We are following along as you two cruise the Exumas and it definitely looks like you are enjoying (almost) every second of your time there. 🙂 – Kim
It was there!! And looked great! We have sooooo enjoyed the Exumas!
